Halal Standards Development Program

CHART will collaborate with various Government departments such as Pakistan Halal Authority, Pakistan Standards, and Quality Control Authority and collaborate in the development of new Pakistan Halal Standards.

Additionally, this organization shall work on the development of its own Halal standards. The aim and objective of the development of CHART Halal Standards is to bridge the gap and also innovation.

In such efforts, this institute shall acquire services of researchers, technocrats, and its team to participate in each sector of the Halal industry, such as food, cosmetics, abattoirs, pharmaceuticals, logistics, restaurant kitchens, Muslim-friendly tourism, fashion and lifestyle, media and recreation and other new advancements.

It begins by identifying all the Halal critical control points for the development of new standards in each sector. Following the process and with the involvement of other stakeholders these standards shall be developed, maintained, and also authorized and sold by the CHART in the future. (Example JYKIM, MUIS, PSQCA, GAC, OIC SMIIC develop their own Halal Standards).

Globally various Halal standards are in practice but all the leading bodies represent their different faiths and maintain their identity in the creation of Halal Standards. This is their core strength, however, it also creates delusion in the mainstream and becomes a challenge.
The idea of the Minhaj school of thought for Interfaith and harmony through its moderate approach is required internationally to overcome the issues that JYKIM, GAC, MUIS, and SMIIC are having at this stage. IIH shall establish its standards with time. Our standards shall be unanimous with vivid acceptance and decide Halal guidelines that can be accepted by all faiths. CHART shall also create Halal standards for new areas that are unfocused such as Halal Fashion and Media and also explore more fields
